Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

Instructions:

  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika; sprinkle the mixture generously over both sides of the meat.
  3. Optional: Sear the thighs in a hot skillet for 3 minutes per side until golden brown before adding to the slow cooker.
  4. Place the seasoned thighs in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  5. Whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, and oregano.
  6. Pour the glaze evenly over the chicken, ensuring every piece is coated.
  7. Cover and cook on Low for 6 hours.
  8. Remove thighs once they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  9. Optional: Place chicken under a broiler for 3-5 minutes until edges are caramelized and bubbling.
