Ingredients:
- 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp cracked black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp dried oregano
Instructions:
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, combine the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika; sprinkle the mixture generously over both sides of the meat.
- Optional: Sear the thighs in a hot skillet for 3 minutes per side until golden brown before adding to the slow cooker.
- Place the seasoned thighs in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, and oregano.
- Pour the glaze evenly over the chicken, ensuring every piece is coated.
- Cover and cook on Low for 6 hours.
- Remove thighs once they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Optional: Place chicken under a broiler for 3-5 minutes until edges are caramelized and bubbling.
