Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup frozen onion and celery blend, thawed
  • 6 cups Stove Top stuffing mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth

Instructions:

  1. Season the chicken thighs with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place them in the bottom of the slow cooker in a single layer.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, and the onion/celery blend. Pour this mixture evenly over the chicken, smoothing it with a spoon.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the stuffing mix, melted butter, and chicken broth. Stir until just moistened, then spread the stuffing over the creamy layer, pressing down gently with your palms.
  4. Cover and cook on High for 4 hours or Low for 7 hours until the chicken is tender enough to pull apart with a fork.
