Ingredients:
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1 cup frozen onion and celery blend, thawed
- 6 cups Stove Top stuffing mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
Instructions:
- Season the chicken thighs with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place them in the bottom of the slow cooker in a single layer.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, and the onion/celery blend. Pour this mixture evenly over the chicken, smoothing it with a spoon.
- In a separate bowl, combine the stuffing mix, melted butter, and chicken broth. Stir until just moistened, then spread the stuffing over the creamy layer, pressing down gently with your palms.
- Cover and cook on High for 4 hours or Low for 7 hours until the chicken is tender enough to pull apart with a fork.
